A Night to Remember at the 70th Filmfare Awards
Mumbai: Kajol has achieved her 7th Filmfare Award, and to celebrate this milestone, she shared a nostalgic throwback photo with Shah Rukh Khan from the time she won her first award for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in 1995.
The throwback image was paired with a recent photo of the duo taken during the awards ceremony.
Reflecting on her impressive three-decade career, Kajol wrote in her caption, "That was then. This is now.. Most epic throwback ever!! Thank you @filmfare for my 7th black lady. (sic)."
The esteemed actor Anupam Kher presented the award to Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, and Karan Johar.
Kher shared a video on social media featuring him on stage with SRK, Kajol, Karan Johar, and host Maniesh Paul, where he was seen handing the trophy to the stars.
In her acceptance speech, Kajol expressed her gratitude, stating, "I am very grateful to be here on this stage with some of my favourite close friends, and yes, the ’90s were so much fun for us."
The moment was heartwarming, with King Khan embracing Kher as he received the award.
Kher later shared, "Thank you @filmfare for a great evening celebrating the brilliance of cinema! It was an absolute pleasure to hand over the #Filmfare lady to @karanjoha, @iamsrk and @kajol for being the iconic trio of the 90s. The warmth shared on stage was beautiful, heartwarming and nostalgic! The 90s certainly were the best time for cinema for love, bonding and togetherness!"

The 70th Filmfare Awards took place on Saturday at the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad, with Shah Rukh Khan returning as the host after a 17-year hiatus, alongside Karan Johar and Maniesh Paul.
Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan, one of Bollywood's most beloved pairs, have collaborated on numerous films, including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Karan Arjun (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), My Name Is Khan (2010), and Dilwale (2015).
